Hospitality Sector
More Covers, More Bookings, More Profit. Built by a team that has worked every station.
Your Venue is busy. Is it growing?
Nicholas Bills has spent over 30 years in the hospitality industry, not as an observer, but as an owner and operator. hotels, pubs, bars, cafés, and hotel & venue finding agencies. He’s sat in your chair and faced your challenges.
For Owners Who Want to Build, Not Just Survive.
This isn’t for everyone. It’s for owners and operators who are ready to put in the work and want someone in their corner who knows the trade, the sector.
This is for you if:
You’r turning over a solid business but the profit doesn’t reflect the hours.
You want more of the right customers, and whant them coming back again and again.
You’re still the person holding it all together, and you want a team and systems that don’t need you every shift.
You’re planning a second site, a refurb, a new revenue stream, or an exit.
You’re ready to look honestly at your numbers, your people and your costs.
It’s probably not for you if you’re looking for someone to do it all while nothing changes.
We work with owners who want to act.
From the Pass to the Boardroom. I’ve Done Every Job in Your Building.
I didn’t learn hospitality just from a text book. I started in the kitchen as a cook, and went on to cook alongside some exceptional people including Mary Berry, have my recipies published and being highly commended in National competitions. From there I moved through food and beverage and front of house, and then into sales, and supporting sales teams, building sales and marketing processes and running sales cycles and large bids for National, Multi National and global bids and clients.
I have also then owned, managed, run and scaled pubs, bars, restaurants, cafe’s and Venue finding agencies.
So when you tell me your GP is slipping, your best server handed in notice or your function room sits empty midweek, I don’t need it explained. I’ve been there and know what to do to turn it around.
When you mention RevPAR, yield management, dry hire, or GP percentages on your F&B, we know exactly what you mean and why it matters. When you talk about last-minute cancellations, no-shows, TripAdvisor reviews, or the challenge of retaining good front-of-house staff, he’s navigated all of it.
That shared language means less time explaining and more time solving. You’re not educating your coach. You’re working with one who already understands your world.
The Challenges We Understand
What’s Really Holding Your Business Back!
Most hospitality businesses don’t have a demand or lead problem. They have and engagement and customer experience problem, leading to a conversion, retention and structure problem. Here are 9 we find and fix most often.
Seasonality & Revenue Peaks
The feast-and-famine cycle of hospitality can destroy cashflow if not managed strategically. We understand how to build revenue models that smooth out peaks and troughs, drive off-peak occupancy, and create financial resilience throughout the year.
Yield & Rate Strategy
Too many hospitality businesses undercharge in quiet periods and leave money on the table at peak times. We understand how to build a pricing and yield strategy that maximises revenue per available room, space, or cover — without damaging brand perception.
Staff Turnover & Culture
Hospitality has one of the highest staff turnover rates of any sector. We understand the real cost of recruitment and training, how to build a culture that retains good people, and how to build operational systems that don’t collapse when a key person leaves.
Reviews, Reputation & Online Presence
In hospitality, your reputation is everything — and it’s measured publicly, in real time. We understand how to build a proactive review strategy, manage your online presence across booking platforms, and turn guest feedback into competitive advantage.
Food & Beverage Margins
F&B is where most hospitality businesses bleed profit. Menu engineering, portion control, waste management, supplier negotiation, and kitchen efficiency are all levers that most operators underuse. We know where the margin is — and how to protect it.
OTA Dependency & Direct Bookings
Over-reliance on OTAs like Booking.com and Expedia erodes margin and undermines your direct customer relationships. We understand how to build a direct booking strategy that reduces commission costs and builds a database of loyal guests you own.
Licensing & Compliance
From licensing reviews to food hygiene ratings, health & safety, and employment law, the regulatory burden on hospitality operators is significant. We understand how compliance affects your operations and how to build systems that keep you protected.
Events & Venue Utilisation
For venues, hotels, and food businesses, events represent a significant revenue opportunity that many operators fail to maximise. We understand how to build an events proposition, price it correctly, and fill your calendar with profitable bookings.
Scaling Without Losing Quality
Growth in hospitality creates its own risks — expanding too fast, losing the personal touch, or allowing standards to slip as volume increases. We understand how to build scalable systems and leadership structures that preserve what makes your business special.
